In a complex, globalised economic environment, the Bachelor Marketing & Business programme aims to certify operational managers who are open to the world and aware of the complexity of the challenges facing organisations. Adapted and inspired by the needs of companies, the teaching structure aims to transmit fundamental and operational knowledge and to provide students with social and ethical reference points. Holders of this qualification can work in a variety of business sectors, and in a more operational way in the field in which they are studying, by integrating ecological, digital and societal dimensions into their actions. As part of the programme, students are responsible for their own training and career plans. In addition to the academic knowledge described below, the programme places particular emphasis on :
  • Developing the ability to adapt in the face of change (within the company, in functions, in professions)
  • The acquisition of critical analysis, a spirit of initiative and relative autonomy (sense of responsibility)

Professional immersion

During your course, you will spend between 11 and 20 months in a company, thanks to work placements and/or sandwich courses, to ensure successful employability.

In the 1st and 2nd years, work placements will enable you to put into practice what you have learnt.

In the 3rd year, you can get hands-on experience of the business world through an apprenticeship or professional training contract, if you opt for the sandwich course.


The Bachelor Marketing & Business is also available in February as a delayed back-to-school. This Fast-Track programme offers fast-track training for baccalaureate and Bac+1 graduates who want to change direction. It enables you to acquire the fundamentals of the programme so that you can join the rest of the class in the 2nd year from September.

 

It then gives you access to careers such as business development manager.

International

The Bachelor Marketing & Business has a strong international dimension, with 100% of courses taught in English.

 

In 3rd year, if you wish, you can :

spend 1 or 2 semesters on 2 associated campuses to choose from among the 6 on offer ;
or study at one of our 73 partner schools and universities in 30 countries!

 

In total, you can spend up to 12 months abroad!

The cost of this Experience Week is borne by the student.

 

The educational department on your campus will present the programme at the beginning of the year.

Simulation on a fictitious company to address the main functions of corporate strategy.

A challenge to understand the challenges of the first year. Take part in a competition for all 1st year Bachelor students!

As a team, you will work on a marketing research topic and present your research in an oral presentation. This 2nd year of the Bachelor Marketing & Business programme is punctuated by a number of highlights designed to encourage action-based learning.

It's all about promoting innovative concepts! Over the last two years, the students have been working on sports coaching, which later evolved into a physical sports hall.

A competition open to the world for all IDRAC Business School 2nd year Bachelors!

As a team, you will work on an international marketing research topic and present your research in an oral presentation. The best teams from each campus will take part in the national final in the presence of members of the company that initiated the study. A real challenge awaits you!

Applying the knowledge acquired in 1st year to support or develop projects in aid of charities.

Organise a meal in the dark to support the guide dog association, devise a balloon release in aid of UNICEF, collect food for the Restos du cœur charity, create a business forum... This 3rd year of the Bachelor Marketing & Business programme is punctuated by a number of highlights designed to encourage action-based learning.

It's all about promoting innovative concepts!

For 2 days, our students are coached and accompanied by teachers in the disruption of a company, whose organisation, offering and market must evolve to ensure its sustainability and boost its growth. Using a complex existing situation as a starting point, they develop an innovative vision for the digital transformation of the company under study, by imagining an innovative business model.

This is the final report written by students in their final year of the MBA programme, in direct connection with the company where they are doing their work-study or placement. Using the know-how developed at IDRAC BS, they are tasked with identifying a problem within the structure to which they are attached, and they must put forward recommendations to meet the challenge facing the company in a highly operational way.

The Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in Marketing & Business is offered as an initial course on the Bordeaux and Lyon campuses.

The fees for entry in September 2024 are as follows:

 

1st year :

> €8,990 per year

Year 1: > €7,100 then year 2: €8,990 then year 3: €8,990 i.e. €25,080 (start of the academic year in February)

 

1st year entrance grant

As part of its policy of helping students gain access to higher education, and taking into account the difficult economic situation facing parents and students, IDRAC Business School has decided to increase the number of scholarships available to students,

IDRAC Business School has decided to strengthen its scholarship scheme. Since the start of the 2021 academic year, a new scholarship has been in place for all students admitted to the 1st year of the Bachelor Marketing & Business - Diplôme visé par l'Etat: the admission scholarship (see table of levels below).

The aim of this admission grant is to remove financial constraints and contribute to equality of opportunity in access to higher education. It is available to students on state scholarships (CROUS). The level of the state grant determines the amount of the entrance grant.
